Why Odense is a lovely place to get married
Odense is the third largest city in Denmark and the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. The old town has cobbled streets and small colourful houses, the river runs through green parks, and the countryside of Funen, often called the garden of Denmark, starts just outside the city. That means you can have a city street, a park and open fields or coast within a short drive, all in one wedding day.
How I photograph weddings in Odense
I follow the day as it happens and keep my photos natural and unposed where possible, with a few guided portraits so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Because I know the city so well, I can suggest nice and intimate spots near your ceremony and reception, so you get the chance to explore and enjoy yourselves instead of rushing.
Every package includes an online video call to get to know each other and plan the day, the photoshoot at agreed locations, editing of the photos, and an online gallery to download and share. You usually receive the edited photos within 4-6 weeks.
Planning tips for an Odense wedding
- Light: in summer the evenings in Denmark are long and golden, in winter the days are short, so we plan the portraits around sunset time.
- Weather: Danish weather changes quickly. We always agree on a covered backup spot for portraits.
- Time: even a short civil ceremony can be covered. A few hours with me around the ceremony already gives you the most important moments.
- Getting ready: I can photograph the bride’s and groom’s preparation too, which tells the start of the story.

Yes, and I love them. I can be with you for a few hours around the ceremony or follow you through the full day, whatever suits you.
Do you offer video as well as photos?
Yes. Besides photography I offer short highlight video recording and editing, which you can add to your photo package.
